Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs pork steak
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Slowly fry pork in 1 T. butter, until done but moist. Cut in cubes. Set aside.
  2. Saute sliced onion and crushed garlic in 1 T. butter. When onions have clarified add pork and soy sauce. Thinly slice apples and add the apples and the *raisins to the pork. Cook until well-heated and apples are cooked but still a little crunchy, stirring occasionally.
  3. This is a great dish with pilaf or rice.
  4. *It is best to have moist raisins and crunchy apples to have a little contrast in flavor, color and texture.
