Crumb Topped Banana Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • nuts (optional)
  • topping
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsn. flour
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon , to taste
  • 1 tbsn. cold butter

Directions:

  1. In large bowl mix 1st 4 ingredients.
  2. Mix bananas, sugar, egg, butter, vanilla.
  3. Stir into dry mixture just until moistened.
  4. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  5. Make topping- mix first 3 ingredients.
  6. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle over muffins.
  8. Bake 375 for about 20 min.
  9. Cool in pan for 10 min.
