Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place cut up potatoes and water into a slow cooker; dot with butter.
  2. Cook on Low for 6 hours or High for 3 hours.
  3. Check potatoes for doneness.
  4. Drain potatoes and place in a large mixing bowl.
  5. With an electric mixer, mash potatoes.
  6. After potatoes are mashed, add milk, salt and pepper.
  7. Whip until smooth.
  8. Stir in chopped green onions and cheese; blend well.
  9. Cover bowl with aluminium foil and place in a 200 degree oven for 15 minutes so flavors blend and cheese melts.
