Creole Surf And Turf Salad

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Grill or broil steak to medium rare.(I do the stovetop/oven method with my cast iron grill pan, if only making one steak)
  2. For Creole Remoulade Crab Salad
  3. Combine all ingredients and set aside in fridge until ready to plate salad.
  4. For Dressing
  5. In medium glass bowl or blender, combine all ingredients other than olive oil.
  6. Whisk or pulse to mix well.
  7. Slowly add olive oil a lil at a time, at first, whisking or pulsing constantly until emulsified then add rest of the oil, continue to whisk or pulse until well combined.
  8. To Plate Salad
  9. Put bed of greens on serving platter or individual serving plates.
  10. Slice steak and arrange over greens.
  11. Place 1 ice cream scoop sized mound of crab salad per serving.
  12. Sprinkle with fried onions and drizzle with dressing at serving.
