Ingredients:

  • 1 cup margarine, softened (shay uses imperial margarine)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups instant oats
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 (12 oz) package chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening or margarine and sugars. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in oats, vanilla, pecans, coconut, and chocolate chips.
  2. Drop onto greased baking sheet and bake at 350 F for 15 minutes.
