  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking sheets. In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, and vanilla. On low speed gradually add flour mixture and mix just until blended. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut.
  3. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer cookies a cooling rack to cool completely.
