Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Chop cabbage, onion and pimento by whatever method you are comfortable with.
  2. Put the chopped ingredients into a suitable sized bowl and add the sweet relish.
  3. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk until the sugar is somewhat dissolved.
  4. Add this mixture to the cabbage mixture and combine well.
  5. Can use right away or allow to set for a bit to let the ingredients meld a little better.
  6. You want it to be a little bit 'juicy', not dry. The juice will work it's way down into the meat.
  7. Scoop some onto a pulled meat sandwich (beef, pork or ham) and enjoy.
