Barbecue Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Brown and drain ground beef in skillet.
  2. Remove and cook diced onion and sliced bacon until onion is soft and bacon is crisp.
  3. Add ground beef back into skillet and keep warm.
  4. Empty baked beans into 9x13 casserole dish.
  5. Add in ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and stir to combine.
  6. Combine ground beef mixture with baked bean mixture in casserole dish.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and top with corn chips and shredded cheddar cheese.
  9. Place back into oven and allow for cheese to melt.
  10. Serve immediately.
  11. *This recipe is good served cold as well*.
