Ingredients:

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (16 oz) container low fat cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract (to taste)
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions:

  1. Combine cherry filling, cottage cheese, almonds and almond extract, mix well.
  2. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Let chill until ready to serve.
  4. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
  5. Serve as a salad, dessert or snack.
