Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 dash salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar with flour in saucepan; blend well.
  2. Add water and salt.
  3. Stir while cooking for 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. If too thick add a little more water.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in butter, cream and vanilla to taste.
