Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add almond extract.
  3. Sift dry ingredients.
  4. Add dry ingredients.
  5. Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
  6. Shape level teaspoons of dough into balls.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
  9. Cool.
  10. Top with frosting.
  11. Frosting.
  12. Melt butter in sauce pan.
  13. Remove from heat and stir in flavorings and powdered sugar.
  14. Add cream to spreading consistency.
  15. Tint frosting with colors of your choice.
