Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Spread popped popcorn on 15x10x1 baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle nuts over popcorn.
  4. In large saucepan combine brown sugar, butter, 2 tbsp.
  5. Water, corn syrup, and salt.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Bring to boil over medium heat.
  8. Boil 2 minutes stirring constantly.
  9. Remove saucepan from heat.
  10. Stir in baking soda until well mixed.
  11. Immediately pour over popcorn and nuts, toss until coated.
  12. Bake for 15 minutes.
  13. Stir, then bake 5 more minutes.
  14. Immediately spread on foil or waxed paper to cool.
