Cabbage Paratha

Ingredients:

  • 1 small cabbage
  • 4 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp grated gingerroot
  • 2 tbsp grated tomatoes or 2 tbsp puree
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp oil, to fry

Directions:

  1. Grate the cabbage and finely chop the green chillies & coriander leaves.
  2. Take the wheat flour in a bowl, add the ghee and mix.
  3. Add the grated cabbage, ginger, tomato, coriander leaves, green chillies & salt.
  4. Knead & make a dough by adding small amount of water as needed.
  5. Make 6-8 balls, roll them into round parathas with a rolling pin.
  6. Roast them on both sides on a Tawa by adding oil to it.
  7. Serve hot with pickles or curd.
