Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp red food coloring

Directions:

  1. In a heavy pan, combine the sugar and water and food coloring -
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stir in peanuts.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly for 12 minutes or peanuts are coated and no syrup remains.
  4. Spread peanuts into an ungreased jelly roll pan.
  5. Seperate with a fork.
  6. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
  7. Stirring every 10 minutes -
  8. Cool and store in an airtight container.
