Brussels Sprouts With Bacon

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Prepare an ice water bath and set aside.
  3. Add Brussels sprouts to boiling water and cook until color sets about six minutes.
  4. Transfer to ice bath until cool then drain well and set aside.
  5. Place bacon in a large skillet over medium heat and cook until fat renders and bacon is crisp.
  6. Add apples and cook stirring occasionally until apples are browned.
  7. Add Brussels sprouts and thyme then toss to combine.
  8. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
