Brown Raisin Cake (Dutch Quick Bread)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup coffee or 1 cup water
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 tbsp butter or 3 tbsp margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp clove
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Blend ingredients well.
  2. Pour into loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  3. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
