Broiled Spanish Mackerel

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • lemon slices
  • maitre d'hotel butter

Directions:

  1. Rinse fish thoroughly in cold water; pat dry. Rub fish inside and out with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place fish on lightly greased rack in a broiler pan. Broil 6 to 7 inches from heating element 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  3. Transfer fish to a warm serving platter; garnish with lemon slices. Serve immediately with Maître d'hôtel Butter.
