Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 (1 small) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl blend cream cheese, egg, 1/2 cup sugar, and pinch of salt well.
  2. Stir in chocolate chips and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl sift flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, baking soda.
  4. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.
  5. Beat well.
  6. Fill well greased and floured or lined small muffin tins 1/2 full of chocolate batter.
  7. Top each with heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture.
  8. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
  9. Do not let tops turn brown.
  10. Remove when cool.
