Hubby's Low Fat Yummy Dried Berry Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a bowl mix the milk, the egg, the applesauce, the oil, and the vanilla.
  3. Mix well and set aside.
  4. In another bowl combine the flour, wheat germ, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add the wet to the dry, mixing just until combined.
  6. Add the dried berries and just mix until combined.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brown.
