Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup onion chopped
  • 20 oz can pineapple chunks drained (reserve syrup)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar packed
  • 16 oz can pork and beans

Directions:

  1. Saute green pepper, onion, pineapple, and wieners in butter. Simmer 5 minutes. Add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, catsup and brown sugar; heat until bubbly. Pour pork and beans into 9 x13 pan; add pineapple mixture. Stir gently to blend. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
