Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. If cooking in oven, preheat to 400.
  2. Pull the stems off the mushrooms. Set mushroom caps aside.
  3. Mix the bbq sauce and grape jelly, tabasco, and any other seasonings you like together and set aside.
  4. Cut the bacon pieces in half (not long ways) right down the middle.
  5. Wrap a half of bacon around a mushroom, take the other half and wrap around the rest of the mushroom until it is completely covered with bacon. Secure with a toothpick or wooden skewer. Dip in bbq mixture until well coated.
  6. Repeat with remainder of mushrooms and bacon.
  7. If baking in oven, place mushrooms on a broiler pan and cook for about 1 hour to 11/2 hours, depending on how crispy you like your bacon. Turn the mushrooms every 30 minutes, coating with any remaining bbq sauce.
  8. Remove and let cool before eating.
