Barbecued Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 2 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large mixing bowl and shape into meatballs.
  2. Place in a 9x13-inch baking pan and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and drain off fat.
  3. Meanwhile combine last 4 ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes to form the sauce.
  4. Pour sauce over meatballs and bake for an additional 40 minutes.
