Banana-Nut Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour , sifted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup mashed banana

Directions:

  1. Cream butter; add sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
  2. Add beaten eggs and blend well.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda together.
  4. Add milk to banana. Add alternately with dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans; pour into two greased loaf pans.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees 40 to 50 minutes.
