Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • nuts if desired

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Mix all indredients in a large bowl
  3. Blend cake mixture until smooth
  4. Pour batter in a 9 x13 baking pan
  5. Bake in oven for 45 minutes
