Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients, except the soda with mixer.
  2. At the last add the 1 tsp soda dissolved in a little water.
  3. Put in a greased bread pan and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  4. This makes just one loaf of banana bread.
