Ingredients:

  • 1 can salmon
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3/4 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Drain salmon juice into a cup, add milk.
  2. Place in saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Blend in flour, salt, and hot sauce.
  4. Cook, stirring, until thick.
  5. Flake salmon (meat only) and add to mixture along with lemon juice, egg whites, bell pepper and oatmeal.
  6. Stir.
  7. Place mixture in a 4 x 8 pan and cook at 400 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until lightly browned.
