Ingredients:

  • 1 dozen cherrystone clams

Directions:

  1. Wash clams in several waters and place on a cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put clams in the oven for 8 to10 minutes, or until shells just open. Remove from the oven and cut the muscle of each clam connecting the body with the top shell. Discard top shell. Also sever the muscle connectng the boy with the bottom shell, for easy eating. Serve with vinegar season with salt and pepper, or ketchup seasonind with salt and hot pepper sauce.
