Aunt Ruth's Pecan Sand Tarts

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add vanilla and nuts.
  3. Add flour, 1 cup at a time.
  4. Shape into little thin rolls - cut in to little fingers .
  5. Bake at 300 degrees for 10-12 minutes until bottoms start to barely brown.
  6. Let set on baking sheet for five minutes.
  7. When cool, roll in powdered sugar.
