Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix together butter and sugar until well blended.
  2. Add eggs (one-at-a-time), vanilla, flour and baking powder.
  3. Put 3/4's of the batter into a greased 13 x 9 pan.
  4. Top with 1/3 of the filling.
  5. Add remaining batter.
  6. Then rest of filling.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
