Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a heavy saucepan, sauté side and back bacon until almost crisp.
  2. Add celery and onion and cook just until limp.
  3. Add stock and potato.
  4. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
  5. Add clams and simmer about 10 minutes.
  6. Add milk and heat to just below the boiling point.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
