Asparagus and Chicken Linguine

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp minced garlic in skillet
  2. Add chicken breast, cut into cubes.
  3. Add 1 tbsp basil, cook until almost done.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and add asparagus (about 14 medium spears, chopped in 2 inch sections) with 10 1/2 oz of chicken broth.
  5. Bring broth and asparagus to a boil, allow to cook until asparagus is almost done.
  6. Add chicken to skillet with broth/asparagus.
  7. Season to taste with red pepper flakes, fresh ground black pepper and lemon juice.
  8. When linguine is done toss in a bowl with chicken, asparagus and broth concoction.
