Asparagus and Chicken Linguine

Quick and easy dinner, flavor to your liking! For more or less spice, adjust red pepper flakes you add.
Ingredients:
8 oz. linguine
1 cup asparagus
10 1/2 oz chicken broth
1 lb chicken breast, skinless, boneless
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
1. heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp minced garlic in skillet
2. Add chicken breast, cut into cubes.
3. Add 1 tbsp basil, cook until almost done.
4. Remove chicken from skillet and add asparagus (about 14 medium spears, chopped in 2 inch sections) with 10 1/2 oz of chicken broth.
5. bring broth and asparagus to a boil, allow to cook until asparagus is almost done.
6. add chicken to skillet with broth/asparagus.
7. season to taste with red pepper flakes, fresh ground black pepper and lemon juice.
8. When linguine is done toss in a bowl with chicken, asparagus and broth concoction.
