Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup apricot jam or 3/4 cup preserves

Directions:

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Stir in rolled oats and sugar.
  3. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Put 2/3 of crumb mixture in 11x7 pan.
  5. Spread with jam.
  6. Cover with remaining crumb mixture.
  7. Bake at 375° for about 35 minutes or until brown.
  8. Freezes well.
