  1. Lightly grease a 2-quart square baking dish. Spread apples in prepared dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. of the walnuts. In a small mixing bowl stir together the 1/4 c. sugar and the 1/2 t. cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
  2. In a medium bowl stir the flour, the 1/2 c. sugar, and the baking pwd. In a small bowl, combine the egg, evap. milk, and the melted butter; stir into dry mixture until smooth. Pour egg-flour mixture evenly over apples; sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake 325 for 50-55 min or until center comes out clean. Serve warm.
