Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Pour mixture into greased 5 x 10 x 3 pan and bake for 50 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees.
