Anise Flavored Pizzelles

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp anise extract
  • 1 tsp anise seed
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs and sugar. All cooled melted margarine, vanilla, anise seed and anside extract. Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Refrigerate several hours. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto hot pizzelle iron and cook until slightly brown. Remove and throughly cool on rack. Store in tins.
