Ingredients:

  • 5 eggs
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1-1/2 cups pumpkin

Directions:

  1. Separate 2 eggs and beat the whites; set aside.
  2. Beat the two yolks and the remaining eggs well.
  3. Mix flour, spices, and sugars together and add to eggs.
  4. Add pumpkin, part of milk, and eggs whites to mixture, then add rest of milk.
  5. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
  6. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes to brown, then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
