Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together all dry ingredients. Cut in margarine until mixture looks like coarse oatmeal. Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and pour the milk in the well. Stir dough until it begins to pull together. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
  3. Press dough together and roll out until 3/4 inch thick. Cut into 2-u=inch round biscuits. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 9 minutes, or until golden brown.
