Almost Unsweetened Applesauce ( Homemade )

Ingredients:

  • 8 apples, peeled, cored & sliced (i use whatever is in my fridge)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 -3 tbsp sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground cloves (optional)

Directions:

  1. Put apples and water in saucepan.
  2. Cover and bring to boil.
  3. Lower heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in sugar, cinnamon and cloves (if using).
  5. Cook until all sugar is dissolved.
  6. Serve warm or let cool.
