Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Grease & flour a 9 round cake pan; set aside.
  3. Combine sugar, butter, eggs, almond extract, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  5. Add flour, sour cream, baking powder, baking soda,and salt; mix well.
  6. Spread half of the batter in the prepared cake pan.
  7. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons almonds and 2 tablespoons toffee bits over batter.
  8. Layer on the remaining batter.
  9. Sprinkle remaining almonds and toffee bits over batter.
  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. TO GLAZE:
  13. Stir together the powdered sugar, almond extract, and milk in a small bowl.
  14. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
