Ingredients:

  • 3 4 cups yams
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cup apples

Directions:

  1. Mash yams with salt and 4 tbl butter.
  2. In 10 inch square pan, combine remaining butter, sugar, and nutmeg
  3. Place apple slices on top and then spoon on yam mixture
  4. Bake at 350degrees f. for 45 minutes
