Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease 13X9-inch baking pan.
  3. Beat butter and granulated sugar in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
  4. Beat in egg and lemon peel until blended. Mix in flour, ground almonds and cinnamon until well blended.
  5. Press 2 cups dough onto bottom of prepared pan.
  6. Spread preserves over crust.
  7. Press remaining dough, a small amount at a time, evenly over preserves.
  8. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar; cut into bars.
