Whole Wheat, Almond Organic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz yeast
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp water

Directions:

  1. Mix water and yeast (water at about 105 degrees).
  2. Add flour, butter, salt. Mix.
  3. Grease bowl.
  4. Add dough to bowl, cover with towel.
  5. Set to rise (1 hour ish).
  6. Punch down.
  7. Roll (2) tight loaves.
  8. Place on greased and cornmeal pan.
  9. Let rise (1 hour ish).
  10. Set oven at 450 degrees.
  11. Bake 25 minutes.
  12. Brush with egg white/water mix.
  13. Bake 5 more minutes.
  14. Cool and enjoy!
