Whiskey Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (8 oz) package sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup whiskey

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Combine the first 6 ingredients.
  3. Salt and pepper the pork chops.
  4. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Saute pork 5 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove.
  7. Add onion and mushrooms to the pan and saute for 3 minutes.
  8. Slowly add whiskey to pan, cook for a minute until almost evaporated.
  9. Stir sour cream mixture into pan.
  10. Return pork to pan and spoon sauce over pork.
  11. Wrap handle of pan with foil and cover.
  12. Bake 300 for 1 hour.
