  2. Use electric beater to cream butter.
  3. Add the cornstarch and icing sugar, a little at a time.
  4. Add the vanilla and almond extract.
  5. Add the flour and continue beating until the dough resembles whipped cream.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for between 10 and 15 minutes, until golden, but not brown.
  8. You must watch these delicate cookies closely, as they will overcook very quickly.
  9. This recipe creates about 8 dozen cookies, and the first batch will last a very short time, so be prepared to make more very soon.
