Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream the butter and sugars.
  2. Add eggs one at a time.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Continue to cream while you combine all the dry ingredients, minus the Wheaties and chocolate chips. Run a whisk through to incorporate everything.
  5. Slowly add flour mixture to wet ingredients.
  6. Using a wooden spoon and some elbow grease, pour in the Wheaties and chocolate chips and combine.
  7. Drop onto lightly buttered (that's what Grandma did!) cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F for approximately 8 minutes or until very light brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE.
