  1. In a large nonstick skillet heat vinegar, oil and garlic over moderate heat until simmering.
  2. Add tomatoes, pepper and salt to taste.
  3. Toss until slightly tender and heated through, 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Toss tomatoes with shredded basil.
  5. Serve.
