Velvet Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in saucepan.
  2. Blend in flour but do NOT brown.
  3. Stir in broth and heavy cream.
  4. Cook quickly until sauce bubbles and thickens.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve!
