Tzatziki ( Greek Yogurt Salad)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kilo of greek style yogurt
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 1 or 2 medium carrots
  • 4-6 cloves of garlic ( here its optional how much u want to put )
  • few sprig of parsley leaves n dill
  • salt n pepper to taste
  • 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. People love to peel cucumber but i learn t from a Chef friend this little secret of Tzatziki that do not peel the cucumber just wash it n cut of the edges ... grate and put it in the strainer to let the excess water drain out from the cucumber this will take more or less 5 min.
  2. Where as clean peel n grate the carrot in a separate bowl ... now squeeze the cucumber in your hand to remove all the excess water
  3. Add it to the carrots ... add yogurt n crush the garlic in the mixture ...
  4. Mix well now finely chop the dill n parsley add to yogurt
  5. Finally pour a dash of vinegar n olive oil ... Done !!!!
  6. Enjoy !!!
  7. Serve with bread / chips anything goes with it .... :P
  8. Tip :- By keeping the peel of cucumber it gives lovely co lour to Tzatziki
