Twice Baked Party Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 7 or 8 large potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper to taste
  • dash(es) paprika

Directions:

  1. For potato casserole:
  2. - Peal potatoes and boil in water until tender
  3. - Mash potatoes with mixer combining cream cheese, sour cream, butter, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. - Add milk as needed to achieve desired consistency
  5. - Add green onions and blend through potato mixture.
  6. - Put potato mixture in large casserole dish and spread out evenly.
  7. - Sprinkle with paprika.
  8. - Bake in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.
  9. For baked potatoes:
  10. - Bake potatoes as you normally would.
  11. - Cut an opening at the top of each potato and scoop out the inside and save she'll.
  12. - Combine potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, butter, Garlic salt, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly with mixer.
  13. - Add green onions and blend through the potato mixture.
  14. - Scoop back into potato shells.
  15. - Sprinkle potatoes with paprika.
  16. - Heat in oven at 350 until warmed through for about 30 minutes.
